Dean's Story

My name is Dean Cole. I have suffered through my adult life with intrusive thoughts that have caused me to be very unstable in my mind.

I also have anxiety and depression, but with the help from doctors, psychologists, family, and a group called As One (a Mental Health Support Group in Hertfordshire County Council), I've been able to change my life.

Although I still deal with OCD, I now want to give back and help others who may be in the same situation I once was.

Meeting Mohammed

Over the past few months, I've been figuring out how I can help charities when I met Mohammed Bashiruddin.

As I got to know Mohammed, I learned he has also been through very tough times - from being bullied at an early age to suffering with many personal problems of his own, mostly related to mental health.

Mohammed explained that he had already set up a support initiative called #SupportUKtoday with two friends, helping many charities. While I was developing my own support group and building relationships with mental health charities, Mohammed offered to help me promote and advertise my initiative - and may become involved in the near future.

#NoMeNoTrees

#NoMeNoTrees is the name of my initiative, working alongside #SupportUKtoday to raise mental health awareness and support local mental health charities.

Mental health challenges are growing rapidly across society. Through sharing our stories and working together, we can make people more aware that this illness can be a serious threat to an individual's life, which may well include friends and family.

How You Can Help

We have products available that raise awareness, with a portion of proceeds going to local mental health charities. These products may help alleviate some of the daily stresses of mental health while raising awareness of how important it is to look after yourself and recognize signs of depression and anxiety in others.

Please be assured that 30% of your purchase will go towards helping a local charity and raising awareness of mental health.

Together, we can defeat the stigma of mental health and its devastating effects on individuals, families, and friends.
